The Cosby Kids are a musical duo from South Africa consisting of Hishaam and Qhawe. 

 

The ideology behind the name draws its inspiration from the animated series Fat Albert and The Cosby Kids and from the paradigm shifting series, The Cosby Show.

 

Qhawe is a writer/ vocalist and Hishaam is a writer/ rapper/ producer who has collaborated with a few notable names including DJ Hamma (SA), Definition Baroque (Sweden), Freddie Joachim (USA) and Jonny Filter (SA/Sweden) to name a few.

 

The duo’s sound is ecliptic and not always easy to pin down, it can span from soul to hip hop and the subject matter can go from love, fame to deeply personal issues.

 

12 August 2019 marks the independent release of the duos debut project Ultra Ever After.
